As winter approaches and the weather gets colder, people look for find places that are small, quiet and peaceful to enjoy. Yong Kang Lu is the perfect place to have a relaxing brunch during November.
Yong Kang Lu is a short road that is approximately 150 meters, but despite its size, the road is a hot place for
tourists to visit. The main reason is that this road was once taken by France during its imperialistic period, and during that period, the road had received many European influences. Although this road was returned to China as
imperialism ended, there still are some remains of European influences, such as language, food, and drinks. Most of the restaurants in Yong Kang Lu are either Asian or European, and more kinds of European beers are imported and sold than
Chinese alcohol. Because more foreigners visit this road than local Chinese people, English is more preferred. Therefore, people who still struggle with Chinese can easily take a rest here.I would recommend this road for people who favor reading outside, or anyone who are still getting used to a Chinese culture. Because this road is a combination of Chinese and European influences, many people can easily adapt to both cultures and enjoy their visit here.
