With a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.3 on IMDB, Bumblebee has fans going crazy wanting to enjoy this blockbuster. This fun origin story is the movie fans have all been waiting for.
Transformers was a childhood classic for many high school students. I still remember seeing dozens of transformers backpacks and lunch packs scattered throughout the school. From its classic explosions to its stunning race cars, the Transformers series constantly amazes its viewers. As one of the most action-packedseries of its time, Transformers was back for a sixth installation on December 3rd, 2018.

This new prequel follows fan-favoriteTransformer, Bumblebee, as he first arrives on Earth in the 80s. Seeking refuge on planet Earth, Bumblebee finds new allies and foes. Bumblebee meets Charlie, an 18-year-old girl struggling to piece her life together, whom embark on a dangerous journey together. The movie dives into the power of friendship, responsibility, and identity, featuring the coming-of-age story of Charlie intertwined with themes of. The movie also explores relevant topics like refugees and technology. In short, Bumblebee offers a captivating plot paired with spectacular action scenes.

Bumblebee was all I could hope for in a blockbuster prequel: a fun, light and entertaining plot with the classic fight scenes everyone loves. Its movie references, goofy scenes, and close calls fully caught my attention for two hours. To those who have the time, I strongly recommend watching Bumblebee before theaters stop showing it. Personally, this 80s trip blew me back in time, as it also blew me away.
